Hard work- ing, as all musicians must be, they have entered numerous competi- tions inthe M i d s t a t e area this year. These meets strengthen the band members and help them grow toward the maturity needed to be- come members of the Senior High Band. Directedby Mr. Hull, this band will grow into an organiza- tion which, someday, will repre- sent Two Rivers well. For the first time, the Junior High Band marched at this year's junior high football games. The signal majors are: Patsy Malone Elizabeth Franklin Majorettes are: Ellen Cauthen Sandra Beasley Connie Roundtree

Sandy Rogillio - Signal Major Senior High Band Although the band has long been a source of pride to the stu- dents of Two Rivers, few realize the tremendous amount of hard work involved in having a good band. Many long hours after school are spent by members in preparation for competition and the we ekl y football shows they present. The Senior High Band of Two Rivers is, once again, a top-notch contender as evidenced by the fol- lowing honors: superior rating at the Middle Tennessee Marching Festival held in Columbia, Ten- nessee, an A rating at MTSU Marching Competition in Mur- freesboro against out-of-state competition. Two of these, Sandy Rogillio and Jim Wolfe, placed in the All-State Orchestra. Alter- nates are: Linda Nels on and Dugg McDonough, seniors, Skip Mor- ris, John Jones and Chris Laird, juniors 5 Joey Mehaffety, Mike Miller and Walter Steele, fresh- men.
