Key Club Backed by the Kiwanis Club of Donelson, the Key Club is another of the important ser- vice organizations in our school. It meets on the first and third Mondays of each month after school to plan for its future projects. Mr. Seay, sponsor of this club, has good reason to be proud of some of the accom- plishments. During Christmas a group of Key Club-ers and Y- Teens helda Christmas party at T.P.S. for forty children. Active in this project were Phil Hester, Bobby Hayes, Jack Sweeney, and Roy Duty as Santa Claus. The Key Club is also responsible for placing the sign in front of the school and keeping it updated. With money raised from car washes in the spring, the group bought new letters for the sign.

Y-Teens Club Without adoubt, this is one of the most active ofthe new clubs at Two Rivers. Or- ganized in late October of this school year, it is a strong, responsible club led by Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Malone, the co-sponsors. The goals ofthe Y- Teens are: to grow as a person, to grow in friendship with people of all races, religions, and nationalities, to grow in the knowledge and love of God. Included in this year's list of projects and activities were: the joint Christmas pro- gram with the Key Club at T.P.S. for the underprivileged, World Fellowship Fashion Show, workers supplied for Teen Fair Booth, and possibly the achievement of which they are proudest, their success in having the Two Rivers' representative, Mr. Longcore of Pi- rates' Cove, elected Man of the Year . Glee Club The Glee Club, otherwise known as the Jolly Rogers , is directed by Mr. Meri- wether. Meetings are held each Monday eve- ning at 6:30 p.m. in Room 130. This club gives to those girls who have a special in- terest in choral music the opportunity to per- form.
