The membership of this club is dedicated to learning the practical aspects of business. Sponsored by Mrs. McCarter, the Business Club has twenty-five members who meet every second and fifth Thursday after school. The club heard professional businessmen, as well as business majors from area colleges, as speakers. Future Teachers Club The Future Teachers Club, sponsored by Mrs. Claxton and Mrs. Elizabeth Brandon, informs stude nts about the profession of teaching. The members are able to te st their skill by becoming teacher-aides , that is, assisting teachers during an hour of their regular study hall period. Meeting every second and fourth Wed- nesday of each month, members assemble with other Future Teachers chapters at one of these meetings. Audio Visual Club This, as yet, little known club performs avaluable service tothe school. Under the leadership of Mrs. Brooks, this new club has rapidly assumed a place of re- sponsibility in the operation and upkeep of theschool' s audio visual equipment. A total of twenty-two students has met regularly on the first and third Thursday of the month to watch m ov i e s , learn new tech- niques in operation of equipment and hear special talks given by professional men. One can see that this is an extremely active club to be so yotmg and it is hoped that it will continue to grow, both in membership and service to the school.
