French Club Sponsored by Miss Garman, this club helps students become better acquainted with French customs and language . As their sponsor has studied in southern France, club members have the opportunity of learning first-hand information on the subject. Learning French songs and games is one activity ofthe club. Another is the produc- tion of skits in the language. Reading PARIS MATCH, a French magazine, and studying the history and art of that country help mem- bers extend their knowledge of this gay and romantic culture. Future Teachers Club The Future Teachers Club, sponsored by Mrs. Claxton and Mrs. Elizabeth Brandon, informs stude nts about the profession of teaching. The members are able to te st their skill by becoming teacher-aides , that is, assisting teachers during an hour of their regular study hall period. Meeting every second and fourth Wed- nesday of each month, members assemble with other Future Teachers chapters at one of these meetings.
