Chester A. LaFever B.A., M.A. Principal William T. Harris B.S., M.A. Assistant Principal To the teachers who have taught at Two Rivers since its beginning go very special thanks from the Senior Class. Through the knowledge and counsel which they have imparted to us, they have been instrumental in our development from early adolescence toward young adulthood. Without their presence, these years at Two Rivers High School would not have been nearly so en- joyable and enlightening. .KN ,J E R ROW 1: Mrs.Jones, Mrs. McGee. ROW II: Mr. LaFever, Mr. Smith, and Mr. Russell.

Mr. William Harris has indeed been an asset to Two Rivers since his arrival in 1963. All students are aware that his supervision of the lunch pro- gram has resulted in quieter and better organized lunch periods. Perhaps many do not know that it was Mr. Harris who most capably planned and super- vised the arrangements for the Southern Association evaluation. The smooth- ness of that week that all students and teachers remember added much to the general impression made upon the visiting committee members. iisv wwf' Certainly one of the best-known people at Two Rivers is Mrs. Richard S. Davis who performs her duties as school sec- retary efficiently and industriously. Teachers and students alike have found her dependable, co-operative, and always ready to help. Throughout the day Mrs. Davis remains good-natured and calm in every crisis amid much confusion involving students, teachers, administrative officials, and visitors. 21

The faculty members of Two Rivers realize that the teaching profession involves more than in- structing students in readin', 'ritin', and 'rith- metic. Many serve as sponsors of clubs, and all teachers find that they must cope with the problems of high school students. Each year several student teachers from Vanderbilt, Peabody, and Middle Tennessee State come to Two Rivers for practice teaching.
