DEDICATION We, the 1965 Cutlass Staff, wish to dedicate this, the first senior yearbook of Two Rivers, to two outstanding members of the faculty. Both have gained the respect, the admiration, and the affection of the students through the inspiration they have given us in class and through the guidance they have provided in so many areas. The seniors, especially, feel that they have benefitted from the wisdom and patience of these fine teachers. It is with much pride and appreciation that we dedi- cate the 1965 Cutlass to Mrs. John Lovegrove and Mr. J. Wilson Bates. Since her arrival at Two Rivers in 1962, Mrs. Lovegrove has become an integral part of the school. She was immediately recognized as an outstandingly intelligent person who was willing to share her knowledge with the students. Due to the obvious interest she takes in the subject andthe student, Mrs. Lovegrove's classes are far from dull. She attempts to stimulate in each student an interest in literature and effective writing. Her wide range of knowledge has allowed her to teach classes in English lit e r atu r e , American literature, English grammar, American history, and sociology. Serving with Mr. Bates as co-sponsor of last year's Junior Class, Mrs. L o v e g r o v e worked determinedly to make the 1964 Junior Prom a success. Having served for the past three years as the faculty advisor to the Cutlass Staff, she has continually supplied ideas and valuable suggestions to improve the book. . Q ffl fi, if is ,N 5 Avi ll EQ

To the graduating seniors, the years at Two Rivers High School have been educational, active, and fun-filled. The seniors have learned to cope with pressing problems by arriving at solutions themselves or by seeking qualified help. They have learned to accept responsibility by filling posi- tions of leadership and by working to promote school functions. They have learned that one may gain greater pride in himself from harder work--both scholastically and athletically. They have known the fun of dating, attending parties, and just running around. They have experienced the fun that keen competition can bring by participating in intramural and interscholastic sports. The seniors of Two Rivers High School have learned the principles of truth, honesty, courage, and decency which will serve to make them bet- ter men and women. vs
