i ie X 2 I 1 GPHO ORE Leaving a year of being green freshmen behind them, sophomores eagerly met the 1965 schoolyear. They soon realized that it was a year of more difficult subjects and added responsibilities. Such subjects as geometry and biology caused some consternation early in the year, but soon sophomores were dissecting frogs and proving theorems--some even found SILAS MARNER enjoyable. Several far-sighted sophomores began looking toward college, and their scores from the N. E.D. T. provided some foresight into their college plans. Several sophomore boys played football while others participated in basketball, baseball, and track. The sophomore class provided four enthusiastic cheerleaders and three attrac- tive majorettes. Sophomores made up the membership of several clubs and proved to be willing workers. The sophomores' social life broadened considerably: to many, dating became a regular part of their lives, parties became more numerous, and more activities became their own. The sophomore year was filled with fun, study, and many memorable experiences. It Was left with regret, and the junior year was looked forward to with antici- pation. 164 President: .... . .
