Two Rivers' Buccaneer Band was spot- lighted even more in '65 when it captured several trophies and when several members received superior ratings at festivals. It is the purpose of the Guidance Depart- ment to help students make the most of them- selves. Many services are offered, including the provision of information - about courses, requirements for graduation, further train- ing, colleges, scholarships, and kinds of jobs. Also available here are the services of per- sonal counseling, of testing to discover in- dividual skills and abilities, and of making application for higher education or employ- ment. The hope of the Guidance Department is that students may be helped to reach the many important decisions that must be made during high school years.

Physics, Sociology, French II, American Govern- ment and Economics, and English IV, subjects which had never before been offered at Two Rivers, provided formidable challenges to seniors. Some hardy girls braved Home Ec- onomics while many boys enjoyed Mechanical Drawing and Shop. For many, the study of Art opened a new world of beauty, and appreciation for fine music was found by many students in Music. For underclassmen the problems of Math and Science were as baffling as they had been for countless students be- fore them.
