, i gf' In any school the force that holds the student body together is that of school spirit, and the spirit of Pirate rooters reflects their pride in the general successes of Two Rivers High as well as in the achievements of the athletic teams. Both the cheerleading squad and the student body have done much to en- courage a more enthusiastic spirit. Re- member the many fine pep meetings held during the year? Building pride in a school is an unfinished job because there are al- ways new areas in which the students may excel New doors of opportunity for ex- ploration are constantly opening for Two Rivers students f3om,.,.f,w 835539 mul. To many students the social activities sponsored by various organizations of the school pro- vided an introduction to the mys- teries of social graces. Juniors and seniors anxiously awaited the first Junior-Senior Prom while remembering the work and plan- ning that had contributed to the success of the first Junior Prom a year before. it Outstanding at Two Rivers is the spirit of C h r i s t m a s giving. Each year every homeroom spon- sors a money-raising campaign to buy toys for a child helped by the welfare program. For each student at Two Rivers, Christmas is happier because he gives as well as receives.
