Cl tss Colors Black and Wlute CLASS HISTORY ln September 1950 we assembled as the first Tenth Grade class in the new Twin Valley Jotnturc We gathered to train for our final performance under the big Twin Valley Tent which was to end in graduation Our directors for the show in the First Ring were Mr Zellner and Mr Polischak Tom Steiner the Ringmaster was assisted by Lyn Kemper The Scribe was Judy Griffith and Manager Nancy Houck The performers arranged the props and set the stage for the main event of the season The Christmas Dance As an added attraction we purchased class Jackets which added a certain gaiety to our attire With our first successful performance accomplished we moved excitedly to the Second Ring Eleventh Grade After a long delay we purchased and became the proud wearers of our class rings All our energy was then devoted to the production of our class play You Can t Kiss Caroline The year under the able direction of Mrs Izspenshrp and Mr Gabriellt was brought to a close by the Junior Senior Prom with a Moonlight and Roses theme Welsh and Manager Nancy Witwer Now we have moved at last to the Third Ring the main ring Twelveth Grade This is our big per formance Ably leading us this year have been Tom Steiner Norman Styer Carole Kline Lorraine Welsh Nancy Witwer Mrs Groff and Mr Polischak The Sweetheart s Ball in February offered what will be one of our most pleasant memories as did our Senior play The Vallian itself has given us a fine opportunity for co operation and class spirit We have had many wonderful thrills in the past years which we will never forget As a class we have worked well together and tndividual abilities have al ways been put to best use in group activities Now as we leave Twin Valley we look back with varied emotions We leave with a sense of humbleness too We do not hope to trust the world into conformity with our ideas but we intend to live our lives with an individual uniqueness whichhas been nurtured through our school years Class Motto Today we follow, tomo ow we lead ' 34 l ,, , . . . g Tom Steiner serving again as Ringmaster was assisted by Dianne Zook.
