TSHS Receives Double Honor With the coming of the Jr. Miss Tenneva pageant, students wondered if Twin Springs would continue to keep up its tradition of beauty contest winners. On August 3, 1972, the students hopes were fulfilled. With grace and beauty, LaVerne Addington made us all proud as she received the title of JR. MISS TENNEVA. But this was not all. Students were doubly excited and pleased when Kay Mathes also received the MISS CONGENIALITY Award. Eight other contestants from Twin Springs were Rita Davidson, Teresa Blair, Brenda Carter, Maggie Sweeney, Linda Dockery, Anita Addington, Barbara Flanary, and Kathy Perry. LaVerne Addington JR.
