Present Twin Springs ' First Mystery Sitting patiently, Joy Walsh prepares to be made up by Teresa Blair. Having no mistress in the house makes serving a bit of a trial sometimes. Keep the eyes closed and the mouth open, Irana, as Miss StalJard slaps on the make-up. With her “glamour” face on, Patty Flanary starts transforming LaVerne Addington. Awaiting her fate, Brenda Dean sits while Teresa Blair begins on her make-up. Ill

Don’t be angry with Miss Leigh, Con. I asked her to dance with me. Seniors My pulse beat fast - my throat was dry - 1 felt feverish - I knew then that - that I was in love. On November 20 the Senior class presented “Mis- tress of Mellyn.” This three-act mystery, broke the tradition of class plays which before were comedies. The play which left the audience breathless, start- ed with a mysterious train wreck followed by a chain of spine-chilling happenings. All of the events led up to a shocking climax. Characters include: Connan Tremellyn, Glen Broadwater; Alvean, Connie Nickels; Martha Leigh, Irana Scott; Peter Nansellock, Danney Summey; Celestine Nansellock, Joy Walsh; Lady Treslyn, LaVerne Addington; Gillyflower, Teresa Blair; Kitty, Brenda Dean. Class Day Class day arrived on May 24 and the 73 Seniors of ’73 filed into the auditorium to give their program. Teresa Blair presided over the program. The wel- coming address was given by Salutatorian, Irana Scott. The president’s address was given by Rita Davidson. The class history followed, given by Connie Nickels. The class Prophesy was given by Carolyn Dingus and the class Will was given by Johnny Stallard. Then Mary Nell Culbertson, gave the fare- well address. Gifts were then presented to each of the Seniors by Joy Walsh, Giftorian. After the Seniors received their gifts the program was then turned over to Mr. Reasor for the presentation of awards.
