'K' Art display, Neat. Right? Students are busily trying to find pictures to use for drawing. Albrecht Durer, El Greco, Raph- ael, Titian, Vincent VanGogh, Francisco Goya, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, and Edward Ma- net were all part of Art I and II. These names don't sound famil- iar as members of the Twin Lakes student body, though. Students, under the tutorage of Mr. Tucker, could tell you that these men are artists. The classes studied art history and discovered their own hidden talents as artists. Art III was introduced for the first time. It consisted of inde- pendent study in the area in which the aspiring artist chose. Projects ranged from Ex- pressionism to Christmas decora- tions to ceramics. Students explored the areas of oil painting, acrylics, and various printing techniques. 53
