The teachers try to instill in the students the dangers of driving improperly and the enjoyment that can be had from driving safely. Students see movies on safety, the effects of alcohol while driving, and the simulations of accidents. Since Drivers Education is a half-year course, students are required to take Health as their other half year course. ln this class they are exposed to such things as personal cleanliness and nutrition. l ,g l y gg l l All right, you can be quiet now. These students go to work'a half day and go to school the other half. Within the sys- tem, both employer and employees gain much from this system, for the student, a good education and for the employer, a well trained worker. The students raise money for worth-while projects by running the school store, selling candles, calen- dars, and note cards. They can also be found entering many contests on the state level at conventions which help to improve their program. D.C.T. students are in 'school before others wake up.
