The Man HERBERT H. BRIDWELL The most demanding job in school is that of the principal. Ho is called upon to deal with teachem, parents. and students who at times get upset with each other. This year Mr. Bridwell also found himself playing the part of mediator between the School Board and the student hody as the school day underwent a time change. Mr. Bridwell also found his job compli- cated this year by having to guide the school through its ten year evaluation. Mr. Bridwell is looked up to by many students as a fine administrator. The efficiency of our Assistant Principals can only be measured by the quality of the jobs they have done as the director of activities and the arrangers of the school schedule. It should be noted that within these two jobs the entire school function is affected. Many times they may be called upon to fulfill some of the responsibilities of the principal when they overlap. The death of one of our Assistant Principals Mr. Frank Hardage was felt by the entire school body. It is difficult to replace anyone in the middle of the school year: in this case, it proved to be even more so, as Mr. Hardage brought with him thirty years of experience in education. FRANK G.
