This givcs the staff a chance to give more time and effort to the publishing of a news- paper that will interest the students. With Mrs. Abbott as its supervisor. this group endeavors to go more deeply into the ncws of the day and its coverage. Journalism The Kaleidoscope, under the direction of Mrs. Abbott, publishes the school news- paper. The Kaleidoscope is a member of the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and the International Quill and Scroll. They participate annually in state and national conventions and submit copies of the Kaleidoscope for competition in state contest. The editor of this year's newspaper is Rodney Heninger. Hrs!
