CLASS HISTGRY Four year ago 1 lnornentous event took place A new class was born the tlrss known as btnner carriers of the numbers 1956 Yes at the beginning the members were shrinking and young Coy looks characterized the girls tnd awkward feet the boys as they boarded the Twin High Ship ofLc1rn1ng Although there were only Sl to start as First Griders we rcrched 1 peak of 43 this term Our President was Phil Buchanan Vice Presi dent Lewis Bray Secret try jackie Miller Treasurer Lokie Scott The girls were delighted that they could become Future Homemakers of America and the boys Future Farmers of America Regina Shoemaker and Homer Rinehart were elected Queen and King of the Hallowe en Carnival Jackie Miller was Miss Twin this year Our advisor in the first year of High School was Mr William Broce At the beginning of the second year the clas of Fifty and six lost ll classmates and we entered new ground with '33 The President Jack Norman Vice President Jackie Miller Secretary Alice Ktngery and Treasurer Homer Rinehart worked hard this year as new and brighter things crept into their minds Just ask our Sophomore spon or Mr Martin lltmn Now thi the third year history of this great and wonderful class of Fifty and six with 31 members was one if much hard labor with but little resting by the wayside for preparations have been in the making for them began to wish for rings befitting their station and many messengers were sent to Chillicothe and towns round about for samples ot their fine jcwclry at last after much considering and reconsidering the class professed itself to be satisfied with its choice and rings were purchased with which they rested well content President of thi group was Jack Norman Vice President Janet Primer Secretary Lokie Scott and Treasurer Linda Cooper And in this year proud as we were Janet Primer attended Columbus State Fair as the FFA Sweetheart Accom panied by the 195 1 Seniors we set our tompa s north destinatlon New York City Our help came from our sponsor Miss Io ephrne Metcalfe It was the sixth day of September 1915 a calm peaceful autumnal day radiant with the sunshine hope cheer and joyous promi e that the good ship Twin High stood at anchor at the wharf of a new school year It was the same old ship that had carried many passengers to safe harbor in the Land of Great Wisdom But this day was a gala day in its history and many people gazed upon it in wonder as they watched the 15 beautiful and charming young ladies and the 14 bold and dashing young gentlemen as they so happily stepped aboard and dropped anchor into the untried waters ofthe Semor Year Captain of our ship was again the faith ful Jack Norman Vice President Janet Primer Secretary Jackie Miller and Treasurer Linda Cooper Wander through the halls of Twin and you may sight a group picture of this class Announcements name cards and other such momentous things were ordered For the last time Ruey Miller Homer Rinehart and Phil Buchanan contributed to Twin High s victories in basketball They have made the class of Fifty and six quite proud of their showmanship The ship this time will row toward Washington D C Our year has been com pleted mth the help of our senior 'tdvisor Mrs Mary McPherson f r S L ' K R 3 . . , . . -- , L - - L , ' 1 s g I I ,-' C x ' ' s s ' ' K v I y ' - ' 1 , . DH L BUCHANAN is quite a famous name lt was in the field of baseball he made his fame Fond of dancing CATHERINE POLLOCK fulfilled her ambition For now she has her own show on colored television JUANITA is a waitress at the Stork Club in New York She s so famous they presented her a platinum plated fork We hear HENRY is a big movie star The idol of teen age girls near and far DONALD CARROLL with his attractiveness and charm Turned down a senate seat for his own little farm KENNETH finally settled on a ranch rn Mexico Where hrs utmost pride and Joy IS his Super Rodeo rf' TOMMY MARK owns his airport and plane He flres over the country from Texas to Maine RONNIE MCGUIRE is the noted bodyguard Who stands alongside of the White House yard When Hollywood calls one usually answers At f1rst SHIRLEY thought she d be one of the dancers Nl But when they noticed her fashionable mole She was given the leadrng role FL P ll 'yn-fr f-7ff12J 'I -1 n uuumnz' me ff fa an K A successful darr farmer we hear about He owns 80 cows and a milking machine y V Y L I He l1ves right along a Jersey milk route 3 s our own BILL KNISI EY whom we all have seen An anrmal trainer has moved 1llIO town And to my surprise an old acquaintance I foun You see true friendship never ends ur' f' X K It took several years for DEI ORES to decide What part of the country rn which to abide So 1 home on wheels and a bright new Ford Are now keeping her from getting bored PETE MII LER S lr rs all painted tn red whlte and blue SICIIIOII ll0W COYIICS IIIIO VICW He wlll put in your gas and fix your cars Lf I And also sell you some very good t1res X fig-iii So here rs the last on our Senior roll call Hrs profession surprised us most of all TOMMY SC OTT with hrs charm and ease ls known as the man on the flying trapeze i 'k 'A' 'A' 'k JIIINIURN ,X f f - ' ' .
