So long as we are capable, and show that we can maintain sufficient control over student activities. we may continue to have student governinent. Our President, Vice-President. Secretary, and Treasurer make up the student body executive group. Our llolne Room llepreseiitatives are the law-makers for the school. The Student Court of nine judges takes action when students can not, or do not, abide by our student rules. One of the best ways to learn about democracy is to be a part of it and make it work in high school. Each year our school awards the Citizenship Cup to the elass that has the greatest number of points to its credit in school citizenship. l.'a1'ticipation in worthwhile activities, supporting class laws and school projects, good attendance and proinptness at all classes-all these are citizenship points. The students should be grateful and proud that we have the opportunity to govern ourselves, and those of us who have any part in student government are equally thankful that the students of ourlschool are such fine people. 1.9-.
