It iust seems like yesterday that 42 girls and 46 boys, panic stricken and excited, came to Twin City High School as Freshmen. Like all the other Freshman classes, fthe class of 62 was no exceptionl we thought that we were going to be the cocks of the walk. After finding out who had top priority in our school, things went pretty smooth. In the early part of the fall, an election for the Freshman class officers was held. The results of that election were as follows: President ..... . Jim Joyce Vice-President . . . . Jim Vaara Secretary. . . . . . Karen Anderson Treasurer ...... Gary Worthington Student Council Member . . . George Broz The girls' P.E. class also elected our Freshman G.A.A. representative, Brenda Loop. After the Twin City-Arlington game, Gctober l7, 1958, the Freshman mixer was held. The committees for the mixer were: Publicity, Barbara Bloom, Elaine Anderson, Decorations, Kathy Schaeffer, Lincla Amundson, Records, George Broz, Chaperone, Ronnie Hansen, Clean-up, Jim Joyce. The theme chosen for the mixer was Voo-doo. The Freshmen sold candy and coke at the ball games and did a fine job of adding to the class treasury. We would not have been able to follow through in many cases if it had not been for our class advisers, Mrs. Fulmer and Mr. Polif. Il 34
