CLA SS PROPHECY It is the year of 1968 ind I have returned to 'Iuttle Oklihoma to visit my former classmates of Tuttle High School Vkhen coming out of the Tuttle Triders I bumped into Coach Ierry Eades He told me he was now colching football at Minco He always did want to be on Minco s side While talking to him Iasked if he had seen his old friend Richard Parris? He said H es I savs Richard the other diy and he is employed in Oklahoma City and lS still available As I pulled away from the curb Iwas almost hit by a long flashy lim ousine Much to mv surprise it was my old classmate lex Pierce ind family He told me he was employed at a big oil refinery in South America and was home on a vacation Later on while driving by the Givens Islw the former Barbara Giv ens and her husband Barbara is employed in Oklahoma City as a secre tary to a big business firm Barbara said Patsy Autry was still single and was also working as a secretary I decided to drive over to Minco to see if the town had changed any 1n the last ten years Remembering that Bob Carellivedout that way I decided near Union City While driving through the main part of Minco I saw the former Car olyn Cherry She told me that she and her husband were now running the Browning Laundry and were living in Minco Carolyn informed me that her friend Patsy Main was now happily married to the boy she had long chased After leaving the laundry I saw Leonard Robinett and the former Marie Carel coming out of the grocery store They now have two lovely children I asked Leonard if he had seen H C Kettler lately and he said was working with him at Robberson Steel and was still single When returning to Tuttle I passed Terry Henderson hauling gas in his 1968 Chevrolet truck He said he lets his wife Rosemary drive their new Impala At Harryman s station I saw Mr and Mrs David Wilson and family They have their own horse ranch in southern Oklahoma David told me Don Cxilbreath was now employed in Dallas Texas and doing very well Mr Harryman told me that Clarence Corley was making the navy his career He also told me that Don Copeland was the proprietor of the eleva tor Ray Gibson is still farming south of town He and Janice seem to like farm life very well I heard that Gary Curlee graduated from OSU and is now teaching agriculture at Amber While shopping in Oklahoma City I saw Jack Collins Jack said he is now a Certified Public Accountant He has an office in Oklahoma City and lives in Nichols Hill Jack told me Janna Harlan Barbara Gaidaroff and Ann Stewart were renting an apartment and all three hive Jobs in Okla homa City VN8tCh1Hg television one night who should I see but Dennis Steen He was appe iring as guest star on Westinghouse Studio One As my familiy and I return to our home inC.1l1forn1a,If1nd myself wishing I was back in dear old Tuttle High School .
