CIMA Prophecy 15 the summer of 1961 and I haxe dCC1dCd for my vacation to v1s1t m former senior classmates who spent some tlmC 1n the torture chambers QT U S with me When I got to Tuttle I went to the Eades Grocery which was formerly the L Hartlr Grocery and Hardware Then I dropped 1D on B111 Cf1Sp who IS now FUDDIUQ tis own drugstore As 1 came out of the drugstore I ran Jnto Leroy Coats We talked a wh1le and Leroy told e was t1l Cf1V1ng bus old T H S I went down to the Tuttle Feed M111 and found George Yeakley Jr very busy trying to make a l1V1Dg for Mrs Yeakley and family lou probably remember Mrs Yeaklev as Naomi McKinney I asked George about B111 Baumann George S31d that B111 was head of a COUSIYUCIIOD company 1D Houston Texas And he also told me that Alma Lee G1bSOD was V1S1t1D2 ID Houston While I was lf town I decided to V1Q1t Lois Ann Breese xncidentally Lois 1S now the County Health Nurse We had quite a chat and I asked her about several other g1r1s IH our class Lois said that Ava Lee Cruzan was still trying to talk Melbourne Cummlngs into t1k1ng that fatal step She said that Helen Black 1G stenographer for a large law flrn 1U Oklahoma City are still members of Old Maids of America Club But I hear Ruth 1S about t loose her membersh1p because of some soldier joy Bosler better known as Toy Streber 1S 11V1Dg on a farm out near Brxdge Creek and I hear she has a full t1me Job tending to l1ttle Boslers Barbara W1gley IS st11l keep1ng the boys IU a Whlfl She said she d1dn t know whether to go w1th B111 or Ogh1 Lo1s june Rob1nett has finished her degree ID an Eastern Cbllege and IS now a typ1st for an 1nsurance company ID Chicago Jxmmle Sheff1eld IS now 11v1ng 1U McAlester You u11l probably remember j1mm1e as T1mm1C McGee I guess the nar1ne has landed They tell me that Edna and j1m Rob1nett are l1v1ng 1D Ft Sm1th Arkansas They 11ke It so well there that they decided to stay when jxm got h1S d1S charge Betty joy G1bson McCla1n 1s 11v1ng at Ft Sill Lonnie has just been raised to Corporal Troy Streber l1ked the Airforce so well that he dec1ded to take that up for a career He IS now a corporal and w111 get another rating after ten years servxce Ealmer Klxppel f1n1shed his degree at ASLM and 1S now farm1ng out south of town Sh1rley IS keep1ng house for h1m As I walked down the street I met jerry Craig He IS now Pres1dent of the R E A Gene Douglas 1s play1ng football for the Green Bay Packers He and Sh1rley qformerly Sh1rley wllllib are l1v1ng a l1fe of luxery Now, as I return to my Trucking company It seems as though I have 11ved these past ten years over with my former classmates of Tuttle High It .
