7. Mark Ziggy Ziegenhagen takes it easy and forces the seniors to lose the kayak race. 8. John Lundy, senior, was crowned as the 1984- 85 'iMr. Tiller. 9. The Sophomore Class really enjoyed the Home- coming Assembly. 1 a Homecoming Week as Up, Up, This year Homecoming week was from October 29 to November 2, and was a lot of fun. The week started with the Kayak R f nd continued with quad decoration, balloon pop eating competition, and the big wheel race. I -f for dress-up day you could pur- chase a Hom - , -5 t-shirt. Throughout the week spirit points betwee 1-1' were close, but it was not until the Homecomi 5 v ' sembly that the seniors took charge. The g Assembly found many students in attendance and a good reason too, there was a lot going on. The Q1-li ning of John Lundy as Mr, Tillern with his pitchfo nd carrots pleased the Senior class. The freshmen, ieve it or not, prevailed in the Volks- wagon race. Th event that was most enjoyable for the students was iq bat relay. The seniors and the sopho- mores tied for place in that event. The only event that the seniors took 4th place in was blind mans foot- ball, but the seniors took 1st in the balloon shave to show their domination. The juniors, sophomores, and freshmen gave them a run for the money, but the seniors came out on top. The Tillers once again displayed pride and enthusiasm by coming out in great numbers and enjoyed the 1984-1985 Homecoming Week. llomeconiing A iivlli l

I 'Wa wifi B A Night To Remember, Up, Up, And Away The 1984 Homecoming Dance was truly a night to re- member. The Magnolia Room at the Disneyland Hotel was rented for the dance. Two-hundred and fifty couples at- tended, and even graduates were there, all having a great time. Everyone listened to the music of Roller Coaster, and danced the night away. For the theme, Up, Up and Away, the room was decorated in balloons, and mini hot-air bal- loons for the center-pieces decorated the tables. Pictures were taken of couples and friends. And finally, the Queen Renay Johnson, had her Queen's dance with Beau Mer- curio, and the court and their dates, Krista Simor and John Heckencamp, Julie Hawkins and Mark Ziegenhagen, Kathy Shives and Garret Stryker, and Julie Krames and Paul Ninow, joined in.
