GRADUATION 79 The Senior class of 1979, guided and influenced by the faculty and staff of TCHS, graduated into the world of adulthood. The theme which the class chose was Old Days. The class was led into the ceremonies by marshalls Jean Hartman, Dirk Dietrich, Jill Holden, and Dan Wilhelm. Speeches from the Senior class were given by Valedictorian, Leslie Hancock; Salu-tatorian, Connie George; and Class Representative, Phil Mattix. The theme song was sung by Angie Jordan. This very memorable evening was drawn to a close by the presentation of the diplomas. 16

Mr. Gary Rahe has been teaching agriculture at T.C.H.S. for 2 years. He sponsors F.F.A. He enjoys livestock and welding. Mr. Larry Sluder has been teaching art at T.C.H.S. for 11 years. He is a Senior class sponsor. He enjoys fishing, golfing, and camping. Miss Julia Payne has been teaching at T.C.H.S. for 4 years. She teaches speech, English, and drama courses. She also sponsors Thespian, drama club, plays, and speech contest. She enjoys travel and backpacking. Mrs. Cheri Prahl has been teaching at T.C.H.S. for 2 years. She teaches accounting, and record keeping. She enjoys painting and reading. Miss Ellen Tubbs is in her first year of teaching English at T.C.H.S. She is a freshman class sponsor. She enjoys watching movies, reading, needlework, and hiking. Mr. Vangel has taught Boys P.E. for 2 years at T.C.H.S. He is the head football coach and enjoys hunting and cutting wood.
