BOARD OF EDUCATION The Board of Education is responsible for determining curriculum, establishing policies, and formulating and implementing the budget. By devoting much time and effort, the members of the board have succeeded in making the Tuscola school system one of the finest in the state, thus deserving the appreciation of the student body, the faculty, and the members of the community. Serving on the board this year are, first row, I to r: Al Borries, Althea Deaver, Robert Reeder. Second row, I to r: Carl Conner, Don Chapel, Robert Travis, A.E. Kleiss.

A NOTE FROM MR. WILLIAMS On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to express our appreciation to the members of the Annual Staff for their dedication and the many hours of work if took to compile and edit the type of yearbook of which all can be justly proud. As the years roll by this brief pictorial account should bring back many pleasant memories of your high school experiences and friendship. Jack Williams, Superintendent Mr. Jack Williams, superintendent of the Tuscola schools, has a tremendous job each year. An occupation having as much pressure as this requires an experienced and versatile man. Through the years, Mr. Williams has displayed extreme patience, authoritative leadership and utmost ability in the Tuscola School System. Mr. Williams and his wife, who is employed at U.S.I. as a secretary, have two children: Don is attending Eastern Illinois University and Mary Ann is a Senior at Tuscola High School. 7 We wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Williams for his efforts in the Tuscola School District.
