The Thespian Club of Tuscola High school is one of the President......................Jeryl Welborn more active clubs. Members consist of students who have Vice-President.........................Morrie Reece earned 10 points by participating in dramatic activities and Secretary......................Libby Keigley stage crews. The Thespians, under the direction of Mrs. Treasurer...............................Donna Beard Allen, have sponsored the Variety Show for the last four years. Student Council.................Jane Rothgeb The profits from this were used to finance a club trip to Advisor............................Mrs. Allen ' Chicago to see a stage play. Last year we enjoyed THE MIRACLE WORKER. The club holds two initiations during the year for students who have earned their required points. A Best Thespians Award is given to the senior who has the most points accumulated from the time of initiation.

The Student Council is composed of representatives President......................Morrie Reece from each class and club. Each year the Student Council Vice-President...................Jane Dunn sets up and decorates the Christmas tree for the students. It Secretary.....................Melinda Carroll sponsors exchange programs with various schools in the Okaw, Treasurer................................Judy Wright and also sponsors Lyceum Programs throughout the year. This Advisor .....................Mr. Lionberger year the Student Council has taken the responsibility of selling candy to the students during the noon hour. The Club's special project this year is publishing a student handbook and directory.

Weber, L. Lietz, J. Kleiss, Mr. Schrader. Tuscola Chapter of F. F. A. holds two meetings a month. President.......................Mike Weber one evening meeting and one, an activity day. At each Vice-President.........................Russ Long night meeting, refreshments and recreation are provided. We Secretary.............................Louis Lietz started this school year off with the annual August watermelon Treasurer.....................Willis Yoder feed to welcome new members, and to familiarize them with Reporter................................Joe Kleiss the organization. Later in the fall, the members held the Sentinel.....................1-Sonny Taylor yearly Christmas card sale to raise funds. In December, mem- 2-Terry VonLaken bers with grain and poultry participated in the show at Cham- Advisor ..................Mr. Schrader paign. Our annual Parent and Son Banquet was held in February. Members eligible for Foundation Awards attended the District Awards meeting in the Spring. Activities carried on throughout the summer include the Judging Team taking part in the State Contest, and members with livestock projects participating in the Section and local Fairs.
