CLASS WILL We, the Class of 1954 of Tuscola Community High School, in the County of Douglas and the state of Illinois, being of sound mind and body do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. First: We direct that our debts and expenses be fully and justly paid. Second: In the hope that these requests will be honestly and faithfully carried out, we do will and bequeath the following to said persons. Tom Atwell leaves his athletic ability to Jack Hood. Jim Barbee wills his hook-shot to Dick Marrs. Larry Boylson leaves his scientific ability to Herbert Richardson. Charles Breen leaves his hopped-up Oldsmobile to some other prevaricator. Bud Burress leaves nothing. He's going to take it with him. Nancy Cler leaves her place in the lunch line to Pat Weber. Junior Decker bequeaths his superior skill in football to Mike Martin. Charles Dotson bequeaths his Chemistry explosions to Charles Martin. Don Endsley wills his racing career to Max Buchanan. Jo Ann Fleming and Mary Waters bequeath their basketball ability to Bonnie Schultz and Judy Timm. Hildegard Freche leaves her height to Marjorie Kleiss. John and Joe Harris will their freckles to the Armstrong twins. Leroy Harting leaves his White Ghost Chevrolet to Delbert Willison. Pat Hausmann wills her ride at noon in a certain green Ford to anyone who lacks this pleasure. Elva Hawkins leaves her short hair style to Sharon Ellis Mary Jane Henning wills her newspaper position to anyone capable of holding it. Lowell Hill leaves his flat top to Roger Roderick. Loretta Hilligoss bequeaths her numerous hair styles to Beverly McCumber. Theo Houser wills his success in getting dates in Camargo to Wilbur Hattabaugh. Russell Ingrum leaves his custard stand to Jerry Ring. Marjorie King bequeaths her red hair to Anita Sinclair. Larry Kresin leaves his ping-pong ability to John Hartman. Eddie Lazell leaves his radical opinions to Miss Brown. Beverly Lecher bequeaths her flashing smile to anyone gloomy. Wayne Lester wills his ability to skip school to anyone who can get away with it. He couldn't. Sally Lewis wills her trip to Florida to anyone who can write a term paper in 4 weeks. Ed Madix leaves his nickname Stix to Jerry Breen. Roseann Mayer leaves her roller skates to those who love to sit. Shirley Me Morris leaves her crown to the future Homecoming Queen. Jan Morris bequeaths her talent on the trampoline to those who have enough courage to take it. Janet Nichols leaves Abe Lincoln’s calico shorts to next year's American History Class. Harold Pankau wills his welding ability in Ag class to Larry Little.

Susan Schultz wills her troubles in Shorthand class to an up-and-coming shorthand student. Bob Smith wills his smartness in Physics to Wayne Vest. Ronald Soards leaves his ability in typing to some, poorv slow student. Bill Stalter leaves his wrestling skill to Tommy Burns. Keith Thode bequeaths his many excuses for skipping school to the office. Howard Thomas leaves his way with women to Jim Hausmann. Clarice Ullrich bequeaths the medals on her cheer-leader sweater to someone strong enough to carry them around. Max Warnes leaves his cauliflower ear to David Walling. Shirley Weatherford bequeaths the key to the “Calorie Hole to Rita Stackhouse. Phyllis Wetzel leaves her head to science with the hope that they find some trace of a brain. Larry Williams wills his ability to draw in American History class to Susie Helm. Don Willison leaves the sideburns he’s been trying to grow for two years to Jack Jolley. Jackie Wilson leaves her wardrobe to anyone who dresses like Monroe. Leslie Wykoff leaves her ability in tumbling in P. E. class to the incoming Freshman class. The Attached instrument was hereunto subscribed to by the Senior Class of 1954 in the presence of each of us and was at the same time declared to be our last will and testament, and we sign our names hereto as witnesses on this fifteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-four (1954).
