Squat Thirty five girls in the traditional blue and gold, with the leaders uniforms being all gold becved the lTigersf through the season of nineteen hundred and forty one. The girls were from all four classes in high school Drills were made at every game, with the most outstanding one being .Qh- V for victory, Mrs Normon Winters eighth grade teacheis was elected pep squad sponsor by this group The leaders were Shirley Cunntngham, Jackie Embree, Monteen Faulkner, and Eva Nell McCall the Presidente On the night of December 4U the Pep Squad was hostess to a box supper given in the High School Auditorium. The money went to honor the football boys with their annual banquet. be T ,.s, , 1+ 6645 A group of High School girls nf is UlgHHlKf H Choral Club on December 1 1941 Mrs Winters the sponsor of the Choral Club acted as pre siding officer until Veda Joyce jones was elected President and Helen Sue Kerby as Vice President Vi Doris Fisk was elected Secretary and Mickey Jane Anderson Wenorter The Choral Club has recevved several new pieces of popular music also new music books The Club is planning to present several programs and will sing at Commencement Exercises f C ,WMM-L X
