In many other lands to-day youngsters aren't so lucky. We can thank our lucky stars and stripes for a school system wherein boys and girls are 'equal and have equal opportunities. We in West Texas are gloriously rich- not in money but in a wealth of the kind of things we can use and enjoy. We raise ample food to feed an ordinary nation. Our agricultural products and livestock bring wealth that reaches every home. We produce oil and gas aplenty. And, fy , K ' .5 will . I x N 1? l more important, wie have the freedom to enjoy these things as we please. Electric Service is another good example. Electric Service brings us light, music, re- frigeration, easy washing, cool ironing, and many other home comforts and con- veniences. .all for only a few ce.nts a day. We are proud that the service we render gives our boys and girls the proper light they need, that it enables us to pay taxes for the support of schools, and that it improves the 'standard of living for all alike.
