Mr. Ralph C. Hughes. our Supervising Principal, busy with affairs of a large school system, does not have the opportunity for close contact with us as do our other admin- istrators. Nevertheless, the Class of 1952 realizes that it may turn to him for helpful advice at any time and knows that his best efforts are being used in our interests. Mr. Allan Behler came to Turtle Creek High School in 1925 as one of the youngest teachers ever to be employed in our school district. After serving first as a commercial instructor, later as principal of junior high, he came to us this year as our high school principal. Because of his knowledge of every phase of our school system, it was not dif- ficult for him to assume his new duties. His influence upon our school has been excellent. We welcome him to our happy family. Mr. Andrew Steranka. known better to the boys of our school, because of his association with the Vocational Department, heads the interesting work shops. It is his task to oversee the courses in auto shop, machine shop, electric shop and drafting. Those of us who have seen him stepping vigorously around our building, with his great physique, worthy of a football star, have noted that his big smile is quite heart- warming, and that his energetic manner displays a ten- dency to get things done and done quickly.
