Class Leaders ROBERTA SHEARER, the president of the student council, is the live wire of the school. She comes from Turtle Creek Borough. She gave end- less study of ways and means to improve our school. Roberta likes physical educa- tion. her gym teacher being her special pal. Someday she hopes to be a teacher of physical education. Things were never dull when Roberta was around. We SYLVIA ARDISSON, the editor of the year book, is a personality our school is proud to acknowledge. She is from Patton Township. Gentle and kind. she never speaks ill of anyone. In the preparatory course she sailed in to math and chemistry and names them her favorite subjects. She hopes some day to be a teacher. ! .My ,fi LOIS COLE, the chairman of the senior activities committee, is from Patton Township. A leader in school affairs, her advice was sought in many matters concerning her school. She is in the preparatory course and hopes some day to be a receptionist. She enjoyed supervising school activities and was ex- ceedingly popular among her classmates. 13

Our Senior LEO VEYCHECK, our class president, hails fron' The Project and belongs to the vocational machine shop. He is crazy about sports, all kinds. and likes to listen to Bill Stern on the radio. ROBERT BLASKO, He hopes some day to be a tool maker. I-Ie likes Gary Cooper and buxom Jane Russell in the movies. He is a very personable lad and has been chosen president of his class two years. our vice-president, hails from The Project. He also is from the vocational machine shop and wants some day to be a tool and die worker. Although he looks anything but husky, he is one of the fast- est men on the basketball team and made the first squad easily. Though he is no crooner him- self. he likes Bing Crosby on the radio. Robert has a host of staunch friends. ELEANOR CHACKAN, our secretary. hails from Tur- tle Creek. She is in the home economics class and would like eventually to be a dress de- signer. Eleanor likes her school. likes to dance, in fact. likes every- thing. It would be hard to find a happier disposition.
