Enslaving the Generals and rolling toilet paper at the Freshmen Welcome, we stepped into High School. No matter what happened, there was always someone there to help: class officers, advisor, administration and upperclassmen. Between feelings of immense bravery and extreme cowardice, we managed to make it through the year. Sophomores - 1969-70 With a whole year of experience behind us, we were ready to plunge into our Sophomore year. A new prin- cipal, new class officers and faculty members were just a few of the changes. Magazine drives and Booster Day floats drew the class closer together, and showed some of the hard work and determination involved. Class members contributed greatly to the world of sports at T.F.H.S., with players on both varsity and junior varsity squads. By the end of the ' 69- ' 70 school year, the class of ' 72 had been firmly established as an impor- tant part of T.F.H.S. Juniors - 1970-71 It was a very good year. There was so much to do , and somehow we managed to do it all. We started by Ringing Up a Victory at the Booster Day parade, and supporting a hardworking football team throughout the season. The year was studded with liberal contributions to the arts; our Junior Prize Speakers lit up the auditorium with their moving presentations, and the band and choruses sang out at Christmas and in the spring. Weeks of preparation paid off at the unveiling of the Junior Prom. A combination of talented artists and dedicated class members made it a breathtaking success. It was finally June, and as we watched the class of ' 71 graduate, we looked forward expectantly towards our last year at T.F.H.S. Seniors - 1971-72 Amid the flurry and confusion of achievement tests and college applications we began our Senior year. The fall was sparked with a fast-moving Cross-country team and a perfect football record, including a big victory over Greenfield. Broken records, League titles, and a lot of happy people made it a season long to be remem- bered. The Drama Club ' s series of one act plays brightened up the winter, and exposed a number of talented actors as well. Spring finally came with the host of activities that make Senior year. Weeks of rehearsal and preparation made the Senior play a huge success. Class Day activities provided entertainment for the school, and alot of fun for the participants. Final assembly and Commencement finally came, and we looked back with pride at all we had accomplished and all we had learned, realizing we ' d only just begun. 45 Class Will Nancy Aitken leaves saying May I help you and please come again.
