MARTHA FRANCES COTTER FreCkles Her timely rervice, like timely gift: it doubled in value. Freckles came to our Alma Mater her senior year from Methuen High School. Despite this fact she became an active member of the French Club and an amateur photographer in the Camera Club. She also lent invaluable assistance on various committees of the senior play. PATRICIA ANN CRAY Pat Wit it the Jalt of convenationf' Most of Pat's time has been taken up in various clubs. She belonged to the History, Girls' Glee, Commercial, and Home Economics Clubs. She was one of our busy oflice girls for two years and served on many class committees. JOAN IRENE CYHOWSKI Joanie To have the qualitier of an artirt ir A gift from heaven. Joanie was a member of the Art Club for four years, being secretary as a junior and vice-president her senior year. She also belonged to the Home Economics and Commercial Clubs and was a Bank Day cashier. joanie was on the art committees for the Sophomore Social and junior Prom and was on the make-up committee for the senior play. ETHEL MAY ENGLEHARD True friemltlaip glirtem and glow! Like a diamond. Our quiet, persevering Ethel has been a member of the Community Service, Home Economics and Commercial Clubsg was a bank day cashier and secretary to Mr. Putnam. She also served on refreshment committees for various dances, and was on the costume committee for the senior play.

JANICE MARILYN CLARK Jan Her face it Jweet, her form ir fair Her artirtic work ir known everywhere. Jan was one of our most active girls during her four years. She was in the French, Latin, History, Community Ser- vice Clubs and was also in the Glee Club, being a section leader her senior year. Jan ushered at the Junior Prom, was on the decorating committee and served on committees for various other dances. She was in the band, orchestra and swingsters. She played intramural basketball for four years, and was on the basketball, tumbling and softball teams. Jan was a very efficient member of the business staff for Netop and year- book. Jan was chosen as Girls' State Representative of 1951. She was an alternate Junior Prize Speaker and displayed her acting ability in her portrayal of Emily in the senior play. Besides this heavy schedule she had time to be an ollice girl for Mr. Burke and was a Pro Merito. GERALD JOHN COLLINS Jinx Not rimple conquert, triumph it hir aim. Jinx was active in sports, playing football, basketball and track for three years, tennis two years and baseball one year. He sang in the Boys' Glee Club and belonged to the Art and History Clubs. He displayed his acting ability by participating in Junior Prize Speaking and portraying in the senior play. Jinx also served on various class dance committees. He also found time to be one of the sports editors on the Netop and yearbook staffs. PAUL EDWARD CONWAY Gay and carefree, as everyone knowr He create: laughter wherever he goer. Paul hails from Gill and joined us during our junior year, and soon after became a member of the varsity basketball team. He was a member of the Boys' Glee Club for two years, tennis team, Art and History Clubs. Paul also served on var- ious dance committees. RICHARD EARLE COSBY Dick Hi: matic expresrer that which cannot be raid. Dick was another member of our class who was active in musical organizations by belonging to the band for three yeras, orchestra and Swingsters for two years. He was one of our capable stage managers for senior play and served on var- ious class dance committees.

EDITH MAY FISKE Edie Her air, her manner, All who raw admired. Edie is greatly interested in music, having been a member of the band and orchestra for four years. She was also a mem- ber of the Art and Home Economic Clubs. She served as a property manager for senior play and was on several dance committees. SHIRLEY ANN GALLANT chippy Her life was generou: Filled to the hrim with friendrhipf' Chippy was one of those snappy cheerleaders for three years and became captain her senior year. She was chairman of the Thanksgiving Day Play and portrayed Therese in the senior play. Chippy was active in various clubs including French, History, Community Service and secretary for both the Home Economics and Commercial Clubs. She was an office clerk, bank day cashier and secretary to Miss Reum. Chippy was a tumbler for two years and played intramural basketball besides ushering at the Freshman Hop and Variety Show. ELIZABETH ANNE GALVIN Betsey Born with the gift of laughter Our lively Betsey has been very active in extra-curricular activities. She has taken part in band, orchestra and Junior Prize Speaking, as well as the Community Service, French, His- tory, Latin and Art Clubs. She is a member of the Pro Merito Society and the Netop and yearbook staffs, and ushered for the junior Prom. She hilariously portrayed Madame Elise in Our Hearts Were Young and Gay. JAMES HERBERT GAMLIN Herbie There ir honesty, manhood and good fellowrhip in him. 1 Herbie was a .quiet boy who didn't have a great deal of time for school activities, but did usher at the Junior Prom.
