KENNETH FRANCIS CADRAN Mousie Esteemed for his good nature and understanding. Mousie was in the band, Swingsters, and orchestra. He was a member of the French and History Clubs. Mousie was on the Netop and Our Town staffs and he was a stage manager for the senior play. ESTER LORRAINE CAMPBELL Soupie Oh who will walk a mile with me Along life's merry way? Soupie was in the Christmas play and in the band for four years. She was in the Art and Glee Clubs and she was an assistant to Miss Teed for the senior play. BARBARA ROSE CARIGNAN Barb The waist exceeding small The tives did fit her shoe. Barb was a tumbler, a tumblerette, and a cheerleader. She also played basketball and held hockey. She was in the Art, Home Economics, Glee, and Commercial Clubs, and was Lillian in the senior play. Barb was a Junior Prize Speaker, and she was on the Netop and Our Town staffs. MARY LEE CARLISLE Mare Her hair was not more sunny than her heart. Mary was a member of the Community Service, French, Latin, Home Economics, Glee, and Art Clubs. She was treas- urer of the French Club, secretary of the Glee Club, and president of the Art and History Clubs. She was manager of the girls' basketball team and Associate Editor of the Netop during her senior year. She also won a poster con- test at U.M. and played the part of Mrs. Gilbreith, the mother, in the senior play. 22

WALTER HENRY BIALECKI Brudger He was as fresh as is the month of May. Brudger played football during his freshman year. He was on the baseball and basketball teams and he player intramural basketball. ROBERT EUGENE BRZOZOWY Smokey Joe And alone with his friends, Lord! how merry was he. Bobby played in the band and Swingsters and was a member of the Art and Manual Training Clubs. He also played football during his freshman year. DOROTHY JANE BROWN Dot The only way to have a friend is to be one. Y Dot was in the band and orchestra for three years. She was also in the Art and French Clubs. DONALD THOMAS BURKE Don Life is a jest, and all things show it I thought so once, but now l know it. Don was in the Constitutional Essay Contest and he played basketball, baseball, and intramural basketball. He was in the Latin and French Clubs, and he was a Pro Merito. Don was an alternate at Junior Prize Speaking, and a mem- ber of the Netop and Our Town staffs. He was in the Christmas play and he was on the ticket committee for the senior play.

WILLIAM JAMES CARLISLE Wild Bill His figure tall and straight and lithe. Wild Bill played football for three years and was in the Glee and T Clubs. He was a Junior Prize Speaker, and he was on the make-up committee for the senior play. FRANCES MARY CHAPPELL But all things else about drawn From May-time and the cheerful dawn. Fran was a member of the Art Club and she played basketball her iunior year. JOHN GEORGE CASEY Jocko Young Jackie was the blythest lad. Jocko played football, basketball, baseball, and intra- mural basketball. He belonged to the Art and Glee Clubs, and played the part of Don in the senior play. Fran JOYCE MAE CROSSMAN Crossie And from the smile upon her face The darkness blossoms into light. Joyce was in the Commercial and History Clubs, and she was a Junior Prize Speaker. Joyce was chairman of the Thanksgiving play and she was a Bank Day cashier. She was a Pro Merito and was on the make-up committee for the senior play. 23
