CAROL MAE COUNCILMAN Cass Cass was a member of the Home Economics, Art, Latin, and Com- mercial Clubs. She was in the band and was on the tumbling and bowling teams. She played intramural basketball, was a bank day cashier, secretary to Mr. Galvin, usher for the Junior Prom and a property manager for the senior play. Secretarial Work ANN BEVERLY CROPPER Bev Bev has played her clarinet in the band and orchestra, and was on the Netop” and Wigwam” staffs. Bev took part in the play, Charm Racket” and the senior play. She played intramurals, has been a mem- ber of the Spanish Club and is Pro Merito. WAFS ANNE ELIZABETH DALE Annabelle” Anne was secretary to Mr. Jaworkski and Miss Purrington. She has been in the Commercial and Community Service Clubs, was on the nominating committee for our class officers, and was an assistant manager in the senior play. Office Work ALBERT LAWRENCE DAY A1 has been in the Art and the Spanish Clubs. He was stage manager of the Open House program last year and was in The Devil and Daniel Webster.” A1 worked in the Cafeteria this year and used his spare time working in the First National. General Work JAMES STUART DeWOLF Beaver” Beaver played basketball and was on the track team. He was a mem- ber of the T” and Spanish Clubs. He proved his ability as an actor in the Armistice Day play and served on several dance committees. University of Massachusetts

MILDRED ELLEN CATE Millie” Millie played in the band, the Swingsters, and the orchestra. She played intramural basketball, mmbled and bowled her senior year. Besides this Millie found time to belong to the Community Service Club, ushered at the Junior Prom and Freshman-Senior dance, and was on the produc- tion staff of Stage Door.” To take up Physio- Therapy DENNIS JOHN MICHAEL CHOLEVA Big Den” Big Den” played three years of football, two of baseball, and was a weight man on the track team two years, and played Lou Milhauser” in the senior play, Stage Door.” Den has been in the T” and Glee Clubs and served as an usher at many dances including the Prom. Springfield College DONALD JOSEPH COLLETTE Proffy” Proffy was on various dance committees throughout the four years. He was in the band, was in the Art Club tableaux and the Armistice Day play. Undecided HELEN LOUISE CONWAY Pinky” Pinky is our Rembrandt from Millers Falls. She has been a member of the Commercial, Home Economics, and Community Service Clubs, and was one of Miss Little’s bank day cashiers. She decorated for the senior dance. Secretarial Work PHILIP CASEY Fearless Phil” played four years of football and two of basketball. He was a member of the T” and Glee and Art Clubs. ARLENE DOBIAS Rig” Rig was a member of the Spanish and the Latin, Art and Com- munity Service Clubs. She sang in the Girls’ Glee Club and during her senior year she was one of the section leaders. She played in intramurals, and participated in basketball, hockey and tumbling. She ushered at the Freshman Hop and Sophomore Social and was on the decoration com- mittee for the Freshman Hop. She was a stage manager for the senior play. WAFS MARY VIOLA DODGE Mar” Mar started school by joining the Home Economics Club. She has been in the Commercial Club, was a Bank Girl” and has been a ticket seller for three years. She worked in the cafeteria and ushered at Junior Prize Speaking. Mar worked backstage in the senior play. Office Work RONALD DRAGO Ron” Ron has played basketball and track. Ron was an usher and ticket collector for the Freshman Hop and Sophomore Social. University of Massachusetts MAURICE EMOND Turkey” Maurice was in the Boys’ Glee Club. He played in the intramural basketball tournaments. He was vice-president of the French Club and later president. Maurice was also a member of the Art Club and was the president his senior year. He was in the play The Devil and Daniel Webster.” Vesper George Art School ELAINE RUTH ENGLEHARD Engles” Elaine was a member of the Commercial, Spanish, Glee and Com- munity Service Clubs. She served at the football and basketball banquets in her freshman year, was secretary to Miss McGillicuddy, and is a Pro Merito. Secretarial Work 22
