class of 72 wishes those who leave with them the best of luck. Miss Nancy Marshall has been teaching for a total of forty- four years. Twenty-eight of those years were spent here at Turner. Looking back, the things she remembers most are her twenty years running around with the pep club, the spirit weeks at Turner, and an allnight bus ride to Salina with the championship basketball team. She has taught such courses as, Math, Office Practice, Typing, Shorthand, Bookkeeping, Business Law, Biology, Physics, Hygiene, and Vocations. I have been associated with many fine young people. They have kept me young at heart. Many of my students have brought joy to me as they have gone out in the world to be- come a real asset to their community. My supervisors and co-work- ers have been outstanding and I thank them for helping me have a happy twenty-eight years at Turner. 7 Miss Keitha Peterson is our librarian here at Turner. Forty- four years of her life have been spent teaching, in which forty-two of those years were spent here. She has taught, Home Economics, Biology, and of course her librarians position. Her most memorable experience, she said, was when she tried to teach a class of Home Economics to boys. She said it was really frustrating to try to teach a group of football players some of the rules of etiquette, but in the end it was worth it. Miss Peterson said, One cannot teach in a school system as long as I have without developing strong attach- ments, so although I am eagerly looking forwared to retirement there is also an element of regret in leaving. The years have been en- joyable and enriching and the students of Turner High School are the 'greatest'. I'll look forward to reading fine reports of Turner High School in the future.
