How else would we grow? With the deaths of Miss Elizabeth Ann Choplin and Stephen Lee Littlefield, we students grew a lot. We learned to accept death as a fact of life. We learned to find comfort in our memories. We remember Chopper's laugh, her vitali- ty, and her understanding. We remember Steve's friendli- ness, his cheerfulness, and his integrity. We live, we grow, we live.

Robin Mailberg Dances, drama, and assemblies bring relief to hectic school life their privileges . . F' The senior lounge? Well, I'm on the committee and at first we had a real rigid plan, but it's relaxed a lot . . . I think that without rules the students feel more responsible and don't misuse A pass-fail system? I have two sides on that. It would be bad because there would be no distinction between being number one in your class and just barely passing . . . It might encour- age true learning, though. A person could concentrate on the subjects he's interested in without worrying about his gades in other subjects dropping. Kim Haden
