Crowned king and queen of Twirp Week were Stanley Frownfelter and Jean Anne Clark, as she performs one of the many tasks required of girls during the week. TWIRP WEEK Twirp Week is an annual celebration at Turner that takes place each year at spring time. Things are reversed and the girls take over the position of the boys at T,H,S, They are to open the doors, carry their books, pay for any dates that Week, and take them to the Twirp Dance at the end of the week. This gives the girls the chance to ask that special boy to the Twirp Dance. Dress-Up Day was the first day of the events this week. Thursday was Clash Day where everyone wore unmatched cloth- ing and clashing colors. Finally, was Twirp Day when the girls wore slacks and the boys wore shorts and silly sweatshirts. A few of the students showed their energy by riding their bicycles to school. Anxiously watching the game are the cheerleaders for the Faculty in their identical uniforms. A shy CPD king hangs onto the Twirp Queen for pro- tection from the ever-frightening camera. 1 -
