HOMECOMING Vicki Hecke Reigns at 27th Annual Event Reigning as King and Queen of 1965 Home- coming Dance were Vicki Hecke and Gene Mertz. Attendants Were: senior, Diane Eaton, escort, Ken Johng junior, Reney Beilsmith, escort, Perry Richardsong sophomore, Connie Gent , escort, Don Turner. rowning ceremonies were at the half- time activities of the Olathe-Turner football game, October 9. The band and the Pep Club encircled the candidates and their escorts on the field. The Alumni, faculty, and students were present at the dance held in the gymnasium. Music was provided by the Shadowmen. X Q Preparations for Homecoming were being made by Janet Laningham, Bob Richardson, Steve Smith, Linda Easter, and Kristi Dickson. The HornecominiDance was observed by King, Gene Mertz, Connie Gentry and Don Turner, Diane Eaton and Ken John and Queen,Vicki ecke and their attendants and their escorts, Rene Beilsrnith and Perry Richardson. or
