The cafeteria ladies smile for a picture: Mrs. Eva Piersee Mrs. Bea Chase, Mrs, Maxine Shirk, Mrs. Nadine Asbill, Mrs. Olga Lunday, Mrs. Alice Rose, and Mrs. Audrey Jones Mrs. Crummitt is patiently awaiting the noon rush. Special People Serving School Behind the scenes of any organization are people who are seldom seen, but are nonetheless, valuable to the smooth running of that organization. In Turner's case the bus drivers, custodians and cafeteria ladies fill these positions. Every morning and evening the bus drivers are in charge of the safe delivery of students to and from school. Although, sometimes hectic, they don't seem to mind. Cooking for over eleven hundredpeople five days a week is no easy job and the eleven cafeteria ladies certainly know it. Nonetheless each morning they busily rush around preparing for the noon rush. The custodians are another group in the line of important helpers at Turner. Among their many duties are keeping the halls and classrooms clean, making general repairs, and other odd jobs that must be done in a large high school. They are always willing to lend the needed assistance. 24 Pictured above are the very busy custodians: Wesley Thiry, Raymond Everhart, Robert North, Irv Shipley, Floyd Way, Elmer Dyster.
