And Labor lo Launch Lilework Language, sir, is the blood of the soul, into which our thoughts run, and out of which they grow. qOliver Wendell Holmesj English is our language, and the language of over one fifth of the world, either as the first or second tongue. It is continually growing in universal appeal and growing more important in our society. Perhaps, it may be the link to join countries in a chain of peace. Four years of English are required at Turner. English I, II, and III are required courses and elective courses such as English IV, junior and senior journal- ism, drama, speech, debate, stagecraft, and communi- cations are offered. Tomorrow's citizens will have a greater command of the language they speak and will know better how to apply it to the world in which they live. DOROTHY PLATT DONALD HANLEY A.B., M.A. A.B.
