KELLER, HGDYY L- Cpl. Henry L. Keller entered the Army Feb. 17, 1941. Basic training at Camp Robinson. Trans- ferred to West Coast then to North Africa. In Italy he was attached to the Military Police. A. warded the American Theater Campaign Medal. Cam- paign Medal with 1 Bronze Star, Good Conduct, and World War II Victory Medal and Pre-Pearl Har- bor Ribbon. KENNEDY, Walter jeff Class of '46 S 2jc Walter jeff Kennedy entered the Navy June 1945. Basic training at Great Lakes, Ill. KENT, Charles Class of '43 Cpl. Charles Kent enlisted Aug. 7th, 1943. Served in Pacific Theater 18 months, with the Marine Night Fighters Squadron. Discharged jan. 12' 1946- KENT, Harold Lee Class of '45 S 2fC Harold Lee Kent, entered the Navy June 15. 1945. Attended College at Brown Univ., Provi- dence, Rhode Island. KENT, Ralph Class of '40 SfSgt. Ralph Kent entered the Army Dec, 23, 1940. Served in the ETO. Captured by Germans Oct. 20th, 1944, and freed by Russians Jan. 31, 1945. Awarded Purple Heart, and discharged Sept. 215 1945. KIRBY, james L. Class of '40 Ensign james L. Kirby entered the Navy Air Corps Jan. 6, 1942. Final flight training at Cor- pus Christi, Texas. Discharged Nov. 18, 1945. KIRBY, Naxey N. Class of '42 Cpl. Maxey N. Kirby entered the Army Air Corps May 18, 1944. Was killed in an airplane crash while serving in the A.A.A. in Burma May 30, 1945. KIRBY, Wilbur Clay Class of '43 Cpl. Wilbur Clay Kirby entered the Army July, 1943. Basic training at Camp Fannin, Texas. Sent overseas and assigned to Armored Infantry. In hospital 4 months and reassigned to Military Po- lice, and later to Btry B 537 A.A.A. where he is now stationed. KIRBY, William H. Clans of '33 TfSgt, William H. Kirby entered the Army Air Corps Dec. 19, 1942. Basic training gt Clearwater Fla. Served overseas in India, China and Marianas. Awarded Six Battle Stars and Presidential Cite- tion. Discharged Nov. 22, 1945. KNOWLTON' Raymond W. Class of '44 S 1fc Raymond W. Knowlton entered the U.S.N.R. March 24, 1944. Basic training at Farragut, Idaho and Univ. of Idaho. Further Uaining at San Bfuno and Treasure Island, Calif. Went overseas May 7, 1945. Is now glrving in Minesweep Depot Unit on Okinawa. 17

Stationed on Sai- pan and Guam serving with Third Photo Recon. Sqd. in Central Pacific Campaign and Campaign over japan. JONES' Frank F. Class of '34 N.A.M. 2jc Frank F. jones entered Navy on March 20, 1944. stationed at Fleet Post Office at San Francisco four months. Discharged on Oct. 12, 1945, from Separation Center at St. Louis. JONES, Jack F- Class of '40 Cpl. Jack F. Jones entered Army on july 31' 1942. Basic training at Camp Crowder, Mo, Served 32 months in the South Pacific. Awarded Good Con- duct Medal and Presidential Unit Citation. Dis- charged Oct. 11, 1945. JONES, Melvin Class of '43 Cpl. Melvin jones entered Army Air Corps on April 26, 1943. Basic training at Keesler Field, Miss. is now at Payne Field, Cairo, Egypt. JOLLIFF, Leo Class of '43 S lgc Leo Jolliff entered Navy on june 18, 1943. asic training at Farragut, Idaho. Served in American Theater, Southwest Pacific and Asia- tic-Philippine Theaters. Survivor of Air-Craft Carrier, St. Lo., sank on Leyte Gulf Oct.,25, 1944. Now serving on Cruiser Helena. KEAR' George Harold Class of '44 AjS George Harold Kear entered the Navy April 21, 1944. Basic training at Farragut, Idaho. Fur- ther training at Sound School in San Diego, Calif. and Treasure Island for Gunnery Training. Wounded May 25. 1945, Awarded Purple Heart, Presidential Citation, Good Conduct Medal andTwo Battle Stars. ls now at the University of Idaho. KELLER' Charles E. jr. B,M. 1fC Charles E. Basic training atGreat Lakes, Assigned to yard service at Pearl Harbor, was at Pearl Harbor Dec. 7, 1941. Transferred to the U.S.S. Murray. Awarded Pre-Pearl Harbor with one star. Asiatic-Pacific with 10 stars, Philippine Liberation, 2 stars, American, Good Conduct and Victory Ribbons. 16

LEAT' Richa rd W. E.M. 2fC Richard W. Lest entered the Navy Aug. 19, 1942. Basic training at San Diego, Calif. Assigned to U.S.S. Tennessee Oct. 2, 1942. Later assigned to U.S.S. Odurn Oct. 1944, on patrol duty in Atlantic. Received medical discharge from U. S. Naval Hospital, Farragut, Idaho, Feb. 4, 1946- LEAT, William E. Class of '45 S 2fc William E. Leat entered the Navy Reserve gune 5, 1945. Basic training at Great Lakes, Ill. ilcharged in September 21, 1945, and re-enlisted in Regular Navy. He is now in the Seaman Guard at Great Lakes, Ill. LEWIS, Walter J. Class of '45 S 2fc Walter J. Lewis entered the Navy Sept. 4, where he received hisbasic Gaining. Came home for Thanksgiving and took sick on his way back and is now in hospital with rheumatic fever. LILLICH, Gerald L. Class of '44 Av. Cadet Gerald L. Lillich entered the Navy Air Corps july 1, 1944. Further training at Ola- the Naval Base and Iowa City, Iowa. Nov stationed at Corpus Christi, Texas. LILLICH, john N. Class of '40 Lt. JG. john,M. Lillich entered the Navy Air Corps, Jan. 6, 1943. Training at William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo. Nov stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. LOCKE, Robert S. Class of '35 Sgt. Robert S. Locke entered Army May, 1942 Basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif. Discharged Dec. 21, 1942. Reentered Nov. 24, 1943, Basic training at Ft. LQODIYG Wood, Mo. Further train- ing at Army Service Depot, Columbus, Ohio. Went overseas Uarch 13, 1945. Returned to States jan 1, 1945. Discharged Jan. 27, 1946.
