Served with the Sixth Division, 4th Marines, engaged inoperations in Emiresu Is. Guam, and Okinawa. Awarded Pres. Citation, Asiatic-Paci- fic Campaign Medal and Purple Heart. Served in Pacific Area and is now stationed at Guam. HIGGINS' Norman S. Class of '40 2nd Lt. Norman S. Higgins entered Marine Corps Reserve Aug. 13, 1942. Called to active duty july 1, 1943. Basic trainingat Paris Island. Officer's Training School at Quantico, Va. Instructor in 0CSat Quantico. Was stationed on the Wasp for sea duty when the war ended and received orders to report to Hastings, Nebr., where he is still on duty. HOOVER f Joe SfSgt. Joe Hoover entered the Army May 11, 1943. Basic training at Camp Walters Texas. Fur- ther training at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Camp Cooke Calif. Served in Germany, France, Czechoslovakia, and japan. Discharged March, 1946.
