Served with the Sixth Division, 4th Marines, engaged inoperations in Emiresu Is. Guam, and Okinawa. Awarded Pres. Citation, Asiatic-Paci- fic Campaign Medal and Purple Heart. Died June 4, 1945, from wounds received in Okinawa. HARRIS, Floyd G., jr. Class of '37 Cox. Floyd G. Harris, Jr., entered Navy on june 30, 1944. Basic training at Great Lakes, Ill.
