Stationed at Pearl Harbor on Cruiser Boisie, until 1941, then on a minesweeper. In April, 1942, on battle lines. Captured with General Wainwright by Japs on May 6, 1942. In Prison Camp 10-a until December 14, 1944, when he lost his life. CLEAVER' Gerald Wayne , S1fc Gerald Wayne Cleaver volunteered May 1941. He had boot training at Vallejo, Calif, Went to Pearl Harbor in March 1942. Assigned to U,S.S. Helena, which was sunk in Kula Gulf. He was in 13 major engagements, 3 land bombardments. Lost in action july 6, 1943. Officially proclaimed dead, Aus-:sf xo. 1945. CAMPBELL, James Alvin Class of '45 S 1fc james Alvin Campbell enlisted inNavy June ,30fh, 1944. Received Basic training atGreat Lakes, Ill. Served in the Atlantic, and is now serving in the Pacific. CLARK, Charles K. Class of '37 Sgt. Charles K. Clark entered Army on September 23, 1942. Basic training at Ft. Belvoir, Va. Went overseas jan. 13, 1943. Served with the 754th Rail- way Shop Bn in Persian Gulf Command at Tehefgn, Iran. Returned to the States August 5, 1945, Dis. charged Oct. 30, 1945, at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. CLARK, John W. Class of '42 Pfc. john W. Clark entered Marine Corps on Aug. 11, 1943. Basic training at San Diego, Calif. Fur- ther trainingat Aviation Metalsmith School in Nor- man Okla. Went overseas toPhi1ippines May 1, 1945. Now stationed at EWA Oahu, Territory of Hawaii. COLAS, Robert R. Class of '4 Sgt. Robert R. Colas entered the Army on Marc 3, 1944. Basic training at Camp Crowder, Mo. Fur- ther training at OCS Camp at Reynolds, Pa. Commis- sioned T. Sgt. Converse entered Navy in July, 1941. Basic training at Great Lakes, Ill. Further training at Pensacola, Fla., and San Diego, Calif. State-side duty two years and overseas duty at Pearl Harbor nineteen months. COOK, Clyde L. Class of '45 Pvt. Clyde L, Cook entered the Army on Oct., 1945. Completed basic training in Feb., 1946, at Fort Bliss, Texas. Now on furlough enroute to Fort Ord, CaliL COOK' Frank L. Pfc. Frank L. Cook,entered Army on Sept. 15, 1944. Completed basic training at Camp Robinson, Ark., Jan. 1945. Arrived overseas in Feb., 1945. Fought with British Army in Holland, then joined the Ninth Army in France. Wounded in Germany on April 6, 1945 Was in the hospital overseas for 3 months. Returned to States in June, 1945. Is now stationed at Camp Swift, Texas. B
