Pittman Principal's Message MEMORIES This memory brightens o'er the past, As when the sun concealed Behind some cloud that near us hangs, Shines on a distant field. ---Longfellow, A GLEAM OF SUNSHINE During your High School career you observed the construction of nine building projects costing S925,000, a 20170 enrollment increase, and the completion of 50 years of service to youth at Turlock High School. You acquired many intangible values and satisfaction from increased knowledge and development of abilities. lt is my hope that your memories of Turlock High School will be for the most part memories of happy, shining hours. The man whose increase of contentment is most assured is the one who has discovered how to enjoy his past. Learn to forgive yourself in sane charity. The things you did wrong, the failures and mistakes, consider them as part of the tutelage of destiny. What has happened to you has happened to all men. The question is, will you cull from it flowers or thoms? If you face life with a courageous heart your memory will aid you, and bring you stores of happy incidents.
