'af T' M ,cf- Dean of Girls Esther Thorsen This year, Miss Thorsen took on the re- sponsibilities and duties of Dean of Girls, position relinquished for a year by Miss Manha, who taught in England. Miss Thorsen met her obligations capablyg her understanding and wisdom have con- tributed much to the success of the school year. Dean of Boys George Marks Mr. Marks has, this year as formerly, busied himself with four positions: Vice Principal, Dean of Boys, Registrar, and Director of Student Activities, As far as it is humanly possible, Mr. Marks tirelessly strives to divide his time and energies so that student welfare and en- thusiasm at Turlock High School remain at a high level. Board of Trustees In the American scheme of things, the schools are controlled locally. Each com- munity calls upon a few of its citizens each year to serve - without pay - as trust- ees. Turlock High School is fortunate that the five men pictured here now are giving selfless, successful devotion to the interests of the school and community.
