QEWWL As our school days at Turkey High come to a close, we pause to look back on a year full of memories, both happy and sad. These are memories of many people and happenings. Freshmen will remember the past year as one of adjustment to a new phase of school. Sophomores will remember the year as a year filled with many experiences of happy times. Juniors will remember the past year as one of preparation for their future roles as seniors and leaders. But, Seniors will remember 1971-'72 as a milestone in their lives, for it marked the end of their high school days, and the beginning of their new roles as future leaders, Yes, our year has been an unforgettable one. It has been our de- sire to capture the best and most outstanding of these memories in this the 1972 TURKEY. Without the help of many people, this annual would not have been possible. To each of you, the students and teachers of Turkey School, the residents of Turkey, and all others who have been inter- ested in our annual, our school, and our town, we say a big THANK YOU. QD . This year, the Turkey High School Annual Staff wishes to dedicate the 1972 TURKEY to the Turkey Schools. Next year Turkey's school students will consolidate with Quitaque school students to form the Valley Schools. Our dedication is to the memories of Turkey School held by all persons who have attended it, We would also like to recognize Mrs, Oleta Crump, who has been our second grade teacher in Turkey Elementary for forty-six years, Mrs. Crump is remembered by all her students as a kind and patient woman.
