Wrincipals MESSAGE Student publications reflect the attitudes, am- bitions, and aspiration, as well as the idea ls of student bodies. Congratulations go to the edito- rial staff and their sponsor for so aptly capturing the different phases of our school life. I would like to ex press my appreciation to those with whom I have w o rke d for their fine spirit of cooperation that was manifested through- out the year, And to each student, it is our desire that you have not only advanced academically, but in un- derstanding others and in the ability to getalong with your fellow man. A privilege, in that the staff is permitted and encouraged to use time, talents and facilities available to preserve through media of picture and the printed page school life as it happened in 1960-61. A responsibility, to the extent that viewers many years hence will be able to get a clear view of the events that made history in 1960-61. I believe the Seniors of 1960-61 have accepted the challenge in the production of the TURKEY of 1961. The contents of this book present a reasonable facsimile of life as it happened. In general the class and the staff are to be congratulated. In particular the editor, Mary Ann, and the sponsor, Mrs. Hart, are to be commended highly for a job well done.
