CLASS OF 1961 -I 1; CLASS MOTTO A matters not how long we live, but how.' “TIME WAS Time was when we were kids on the school yard swings. When we exchanged graduation rings, one lovely yesterday. Time was when we wrote love letters in the sand and lingered over our coffee and dreaming the time away. Scenics and hay-rides and mid-winter sleigh rides and never apart. Hikes through the country and all of these memories we hold deep within our hearts. Every tomorrow will be complete if all our memories are half as sweet as all our time was then. OFFICERS AND ADVISORS At its first meeting the class of ’61 elected the following officers: N. White, President; C. Staves, Secretary; J. Staves, Vice-President; S. Crary, Treasurer. Under the very capable guidance of our advisors Miss Proulx, Mrs. Austin, Mr. Stubley, and Mr. Whitlock, we began our senior projects. We held the annual Sadie Hawkins dance on October 29th. We chose our TUHISEAN Staff and sold Christmas cards to finance our yearbook. Ahead of us yet is the Prom, the Senior Banquet, and of course graduation. Graduation--a shining milestone which we shall never see again but shall never forget as it is a goal we set out to obtain and reached--together. Nor shall we forget those who helped make our high school years such memorable ones. Remember us. Won’t you?
