The Seniors are well represented in the extra curricular activities. These include the Press Club, Drama Club, Senior Choir, Cheerleaders, boys' and girls' sports, band, Student Council, Triple Trio, G.A.A., and National Honor Society. The Student Council of Tupper Lake High is an organization formed for the purpose of establishing better relations between the students and faculty. The 19 members include president Gary Sabin, vice-president Sherdan Boushie, treasurer Althea Savard, and secretary Joy Bianca. This year's Student Council has been very successful and hopes to have greater success in the future. A few goals which it has achieved include, a stronger monitor system, a means of transportation for students wishing to go to out of town football games, the sponsoring of the Christmas decorations in which most of the classes com- peted and the pledge of allegiance taken each morning in every homeroom. We, the members of the Student Council, hope to continue helping the students and administrators, and we wish to thank Mr. Donovan, Mr. Quinn and the student body for their wonderful cooperation in making this year a success. Ann Van Vranken was elected Secretary and Dick Lyons was elected Treasurer. The Juniors have been immensely active in such functions as: Varsity Basketball and Football, Girls' Athletic Association, Gym Leaders, Cheerleaders, Triple Trio, Senior Choir, Band, Drama Club, and Press Club. All four offices of the Student Cotmcil were held by Juniors. Our square dance, The Kick-Off, was the first one held this year. It was a tremendous success. We hope to be as successful throughout the year in our other undertakings. We wish to thank our cooperative advisors, Mr. Bayer, Mrs. Austin, and Mr. Baker, for making this Junior year a success.
